Qiao Zheng is an Associate Attorney at LaFave, Wein, Frament & Karic, PLLC, where she focuses her practice on civil litigation, including personal injury, medical malpractice, automobile accidents, premises liability, and commercial litigation. Originally from China, Ms. Zheng earned her law degree from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, a four-year program equivalent to a U.S. Juris Doctor. She later received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Her academic and professional experience across legal systems enables her to approach complex legal matters with a global perspective. Ms. Zheng is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, which allows her to effectively serve a diverse client base and build meaningful connections with individuals from all backgrounds. Prior to joining LaFave, Wein, Frament & Karic, PLLC, she worked in litigation support and legal research roles at law firms in both China and the United States. Alma Chavez is a bilingual legal professional and Dallas native at Kelso Law PLLC. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Forensic Science Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin in 2020 and her J.D. from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law in May 2025. She was a Dean’s Scholar and received CALI Awards in Civil Motions and Texas Civil Procedure. She scored in the top 1-2% nationwide on the July 2025 Uniform Bar Examination. Her practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and immigration matters.

Laurie Drymalla

Austin, TX

Laurie Drymalla has always championed for those in need. In high school she volunteered to teach English in Costa Rica; in college she worked with the homeless in Washington, D.C. After graduating Baylor Law School, she began representing indigent clients in the criminal county courts at law in San Antonio, Texas. As a court-appointed attorney in Bexar County, she was successful at resolving cases for her clients before they went to trial, but she decided that to take her practice to the next level, she needed courtroom experience. In 1997, she joined the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office in San Antonio to gain the trial experience necessary to fight for her client’s rights. For the next 20 plus years Laurie worked as an assistant district/county attorney in several different offices across Central Texas. Her experience includes prosecuting all types of domestic violence case, serious violent felony offenses, homicides, white collar cases, drug offenses, and police officer use of force cases. At the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, she served as the chief of two major units, Chief of the 167th District Court for three years and the Chief of the Critical Incident Unit for four years. In 2021, Laurie entered private practice where she joined the law firm of O’Connell West, PLLC. Additionally, she serves as an Associate Magistrate Judge for the City of Lago Vista. Laurie is now using her expertise in the criminal justice system to help those who have been accused of a crime, need help navigating the criminal justice system, need help consulting on a criminal case, or need help preparing for testimony in front of a grand jury or court. Kenneth Edelin, Jr. is an attorney who developed and heads the criminal defense practice at MyPhillyLawyer. With over 12 years of litigation experience, he defends clients facing felony and misdemeanor charges in state and federal court and handles appeals. He previously worked as a trial attorney for the Defender Association of Philadelphia. He graduated from Howard University School of Law in 1996 and Morehouse College. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and serves as a Criminal Justice Act panel member for the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.

Evan F. Shapiro

While in law school he volunteered with Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners (LAMP) and the Washington County Public Defender’s Office and was recognized by the Minnesota Justice Foundation for volunteering over 150 hours of legal services.

Jonathan B. Jordan

Jonathan Jordan, a 2015 T.C. Williams School of Law graduate, has experience with the U.S. Attorney's Office, corporate counsel, and immigration firms. He was a partner at an immigration firm and served as a guardian ad litem. After moving to Texas in 2019, he became an Assistant District Attorney in Hays County. She earned her law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in December 2011 and obtained her Illinois law license in May 2012. She also worked as a law clerk for Ramsey County's Child Support Division during law school. Andrew Konya is an associate attorney at Travis Noble focused on criminal defense and DUI litigation. Born and raised in southern Illinois, Andrew brings a regional understanding and strategic approach to representing clients facing serious criminal charges across Missouri and Illinois. Andrew earned his degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, and is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Illinois. Marco Giannone graduated in Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano in 2013 and has been a member of the Italian Bar of Milan since 2017. He specializes in judicial assistance in all areas of criminal law, focusing on crimes against property, tax crimes, and bankruptcy crimes. He speaks Italian and English.
