In 2015, I became the founding member of Ferreira Law, a full-service boutique immigration law firm designed to provide guidance and professional legal services to the immigrant community located in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. As a child of immigrants and as a first-generation citizen, I am deeply passionate about the immigration process. Both my parents and my in-laws came to the United States to seek a better life for themselves and their families. I was fortunate enough to grow up in Philadelphia’s deeply rich Portuguese community, and had the pleasure of directly witnessing families achieve their own personal American Dream. Unfortunately I am also all too familiar with families being torn apart by our nation’s harsh immigration system. With this background, I knew from a young age that I wanted to focus my career on helping immigrants achieve their goals. My legal career began at The Pennsylvania State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Crime, Law and Justice. I went on to attend law school at The Delaware Law School where I represented indigent clients in court as a certified legal intern for The Delaware Law School Criminal Defense Clinic. After law school, I served as a Judicial Fellow to the Honorable Joseph Fernandes at the Family Court of Philadelphia. Now, I utilize my background and legal expertise to do what I love most -strive to assist each and every one of my clients in achieving their own version of the American Dream and provide competent and thorough legal services to members of my beloved community. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I am licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Aiman A. Dvorak

I was born and raised in Almaty, Kazakhstan. That is where I started my legal career. After moving to Kansas City, which for the last decade has become my second home, I pursued a J.D. from the UMKC School of Law. Upon graduation, I served as a law clerk for two different judges, at both trial and appellate level. Through this experience, I was exposed to various areas of law, which helped me realize that I would like to devote my career to helping individuals in enforcing their civil rights. Because of my background, I have a special understanding and appreciation for the rights of those who are underprivileged and underrepresented that fuels my tireless efforts to achieve fair and just results for those clients.

Paul A. Kettering

Paul A. Kettering graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 2011. He began his career as a civil defense litigator, then co-founded Kettering Delligatti Law Offices in 2013, handling various civil and criminal cases. He relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, and joined Headley Law Firm in July 2023. He is licensed to practice in South Carolina, West Virginia, and the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.

Paul Johnson is a founding partner of Cicalese & Johnson. With over 30 years’ experience serving Disabled and injured clients in the Coachella Valley, Imperial County, and surrounding areas, Paul is recognized by his peers as an outstanding Disability advocate. Ryan is an associate attorney in Lacy Katzen’s Corporate Practice Group. He handles Corporate Law, including formation of businesses; succession planning; mergers, acquisitions, and sales of privately held businesses; regulatory compliance services; and general counsel services. He also handles Real Estate law, including commercial and residential leasing, and residential and commercial real estate transactions, and Landlord and tenant law.

W. Christopher Freiberg

Coon Rapids, MN

Attorney W. Christopher Freiberg was raised in Northwest Indiana, and later attended Indiana University in Bloomington. After majoring in journalism and minoring in religious studies, he spent several years as a journalist in Indiana, Alaska, and Arkansas. He returned to Indiana to attend law school at Valparaiso University Law School where he was a member of both law review and moot court. During law school, Christopher also externed for two federal judges, mostly working on Social Security Disability appeals. After being admitted to the Illinois bar in 2015, Christopher took a position with a small firm that handled disability applications of police officers and firefighters around the state. While not at work, Christopher enjoys writing, watching movies, and spending time with his family and dog.

Steven J. Matt (1987-2019) graduated from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 2016 and joined Matt & Allen shortly thereafter. He handled criminal defense cases, particularly juvenile criminal defense, and won several awards for his service and abilities. He passed away at the age of 31.

Jonathan Parker Edwards

Jonathan has been a licensed attorney for over 10 years and has practiced law on both coasts. Originally from coastal South Carolina, Jonathan moved to Portland, Oregon in 2020 because he loves the people, the landscape, and the culture. Before moving to Portland, he spent 6 years as general counsel for Francis Marion, a public university in the coastal plains of South Carolina, where he also taught business law courses as an adjunct in the school of business. He is licensed in Oregon and Washington and focuses his practice on advising businesses before problems arise, and protecting them through litigation when necessary. Tara is a Texas attorney with experience in both litigation and transactional law, specifically in construction law and real estate transactions. A proud Aggie, she earned a B.A. in Economics with honors (cum laude) from Texas A&M University before obtaining her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2022, passing the Bar before graduating. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. As part of her MBA program, Tara worked in Bogotá, Colombia, providing in-depth business strategy analysis for a Colombian-owned company. Alma Chavez is a bilingual legal professional and Dallas native at Kelso Law PLLC. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Forensic Science Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin in 2020 and her J.D. from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law in May 2025. She was a Dean’s Scholar and received CALI Awards in Civil Motions and Texas Civil Procedure. She scored in the top 1-2% nationwide on the July 2025 Uniform Bar Examination. Her practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and immigration matters.

Laurie Drymalla

Austin, TX

Laurie Drymalla has always championed for those in need. In high school she volunteered to teach English in Costa Rica; in college she worked with the homeless in Washington, D.C. After graduating Baylor Law School, she began representing indigent clients in the criminal county courts at law in San Antonio, Texas. As a court-appointed attorney in Bexar County, she was successful at resolving cases for her clients before they went to trial, but she decided that to take her practice to the next level, she needed courtroom experience. In 1997, she joined the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office in San Antonio to gain the trial experience necessary to fight for her client’s rights. For the next 20 plus years Laurie worked as an assistant district/county attorney in several different offices across Central Texas. Her experience includes prosecuting all types of domestic violence case, serious violent felony offenses, homicides, white collar cases, drug offenses, and police officer use of force cases. At the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, she served as the chief of two major units, Chief of the 167th District Court for three years and the Chief of the Critical Incident Unit for four years. In 2021, Laurie entered private practice where she joined the law firm of O’Connell West, PLLC. Additionally, she serves as an Associate Magistrate Judge for the City of Lago Vista. Kenneth Edelin, Jr. is an attorney who developed and heads the criminal defense practice at MyPhillyLawyer. With over 12 years of litigation experience, he defends clients facing felony and misdemeanor charges in state and federal court and handles appeals. He previously worked as a trial attorney for the Defender Association of Philadelphia. He graduated from Howard University School of Law in 1996 and Morehouse College. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and serves as a Criminal Justice Act panel member for the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
