She lived with an American family in Mendoza during an exchange program, improving her English and gaining cultural appreciation. Later, she spent two years in Brazil, where she learned Portuguese and participated in volunteer work. Although she joined the firm with a background in business administration and no legal experience, her eagerness to learn and improve internal processes made her an indispensable team member. Clara’s passions include health, fitness, and music. She dedicates her time to weightlifting, studying sports nutrition, and playing soccer and volleyball. Though she’s been away from her piano and guitar, she hopes to return to making music soon. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and cherishes moments with her beloved cat, Nina. For Clara, her work is more than just a job-it’s about serving people when they need it most. Ethan S. Deimeke

Ethan graduated from Westminster College in 2020. While attending the University of Missouri - School of Law, he served as a law clerk for Rogers | Ehrhardt for three years. Ethan graduated in 2025 and was named to the Order of the Barristers. Upon his law school graduation in 2025, Ethan joined the firm as an Associate Attorney. Outside of the firm, Ethan serves as a coach for the University of Missouri School of Law Mock Trial Team.

Mark Kahley

Winter Park, FL

With nearly two decades devoted exclusively to insurance-claim litigation, Mark Kahley brings deep trial experience and a rare, 360-degree view of the industry to every case. He earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida (2002) and his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law (2007). Mr. Kahley has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2007 and was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2011. From 2006-2008, Mr. Kahley worked alongside the chief operating officer and general counsel of a regional insurance carrier, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and managing outside counsel on claims litigation. Seeking to try cases in court, he then spent more than a decade at an insurance-defense firm representing some of the nation’s largest insurers. There, he gained substantial trial experience defending third-party liability matters and bad-faith claims across Florida. In 2018, Mr. Kahley shifted his practice to the plaintiff’s side, joining the largest plaintiffs’ law firm in Florida. He has since focused on holding insurers accountable for wrongfully denied or underpaid benefits and pursuing full, fair recovery for individuals and businesses.

Alejandro is a personal injury case handler. Alejandro was born in Brookfied, Wisconsin to Panamanian parents. Alejandro’s parents eventually moved back to Panama City, Panama and raised Alejandro there. This gave Alejandro the opportunity to become bi-lingual in Spanish and English. Alejandro received a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua (USMA) in Panama in 2010. He began his legal career working for Manuel Borrell in Panama, but always dreamed of returning to the States. In September 2012, Alejandro joined his Aunt and Uncle in Eagle River, Alaska and accepted a position with Crowson Law Group. We are very fortunate to work with Alejandro and have had the pleasure of watching him become a husband to his wife, Emily, and a father to a beautiful baby boy named Ray. In addition to spending time with his family, Alejandro enjoys watching and playing sports. Watching the Green Bay Packers and playing tennis are among his favorites. He also enjoys doing Crossfit, which he frequently does with his wife and friends.

Caroline Matthews

Caroline Matthews was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. During law school, she served in her Immigration Clinic, focusing on asylum cases. After passing the bar exam, she earned an LLM in Human Rights Law and is committed to practicing law with compassion, integrity, and a deep respect for the dignity of every client.

Mahogany Paulino Jenkins has joined Gentry, Tipton & McLemore, P.C. as an associate. Her primary practice areas will be corporate and business law and real estate. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jenkins worked as an estate planning and trust administration associate at the California law firm Horton & Roberts, LLP.

Summar C. Sparks

Attorney Summar C. Sparks has practiced labor law exclusively on behalf of union since joining the firm in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, she taught first-year writing and became involved in a union organizing campaign, serving on the bargaining committee and as a faculty member organizer. At Boston University Law School, she was a Paul J. Liacos Scholar, received the Stuart H. Bompey Scholarship, served as a Note Editor for the Public Interest Law Journal, and qualified for the Supreme Judicial Court’s Pro Bono Honor Roll. She also participated in the BU Civil Litigation program and interned at the U.S. Department of Labor Office of the Solicitor and the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations.

Brandy Orth Becker is an attorney admitted to practice in Indiana. She focuses on Family Law, Elder Law, Juvenile Law, Child Support, Criminal Misdemeanor and lower-level Criminal Felony defense, and adoption. She is fluent in Spanish.

Kelly Tigre joined KLS Law in August 2023. Originally from Spain, she is a dedicated legal assistant supporting legal professionals in various aspects of case management, research, and client communication for personal injury, criminal defense, and immigration matters. John O. Killian

Attorney John O. Killian has practiced labor law exclusively on behalf of unions since joining the firm in 2015. He represents unions at grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, prohibited practice charge hearings, workplace investigations, and in litigation at both federal and state courts. This includes work before arbitrators, the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations, the National Labor Relations Board, and state and federal courts.

Carley Darby

Carley Darby was born and raised in Cookeville, graduating from Cookeville High School in 2012. She attended Lee University, graduating summa cum laude in Spring 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then attended Nashville School of Law, where she received two Top Performance Awards, earned a limited law license, completed two juvenile trials, and prepared wills for Habitat for Humanity. She worked full-time during law school, focusing on family law and working at the Rutherford County Clerk and Master’s Office. She moved back to Cookeville in 2019, graduated from Nashville School of Law in 2020, and began working under her limited license while awaiting Bar results.

Raymond K. Berg

Chicago, IL

Raymond Berg was born in 1931 in Duluth, Minnesota. He graduated first in his class from DePaul University law school and pursued post-doctorate studies in International Law at Cambridge University. He served as an Assistant United States District Attorney, prosecuting organized crime and doing anti-trust work, achieving 35 consecutive criminal convictions. He was the first director of the Federal Defender Program in Chicago, a program initiated at the request of President John F. Kennedy and U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy. Later, as Chief Judge of the Traffic Court, he instituted tough DUI laws and new practices to combat corruption, earning the Chicago Traffic Court the title of “Best Traffic Court in the Nation” and receiving the American Bar Association’s “Judges Award”. He then presided over major class action lawsuits in the Chancery Division. Raymond was tragically killed on July 4, 1979, leaving behind his wife and six children, including Peter and John Berg, who continue his legacy.

Ranah Nam is a detail-oriented and skilled Korean-Chinese-English translator with over 10 years of experience in legal, diplomatic, and business translation. She worked as a freelance translator and interpreter from 2013 to present, and previously served as an Official Translator & Interpreter for the Presidential Security Service (2008-2012) and in the Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs in East Asia Department (2010-2012). Her experience includes translating for the Korean President's bodyguards during visits to Beijing and translating classified government documents.
