Geraldine Perez

Geraldine is a Client Advocate II at Venerable Injury Law. In that role, Geraldine provides the necessary guidance and tools a client needs on their path to recovery. She actively assists in the development of a client’s bodily injury claim by ensuring that each client has access to the same protocols, evaluations, tools, and opportunities to maximize their claim value. Geraldine’s professional history in customer experience and guest services as part of a Fortune 100 company allows her to connect with clients on a personal level, reassuring them that their claim is in capable hands. Every day, Geraldine tries to hold close to Maya Angelou’s words, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel”. Geraldine understands that the voice of a victim can be drowned out in the chaotic aftermath of an accident, so she endeavors to amplify each victim’s voice to ensure that his/her story of pain and loss will not be overlooked. Moreover, the primary motivation driving Geraldine’s professional activities is the desire to help others in need. Accordingly, her main objective in any personal injury claim is to make sure that when a client is done with treatment, they are as healthy - mentally, physically, and financially - as they were prior to the accident.

Julie Moreno serves as Kanner & Pintaluga’s Treasurer and is a member of the Firm’s Executive Leadership Team. As Treasurer, she is responsible for auditing client settlement statements and managing incoming and outgoing capital for the Firm. In addition, she acts as the liaison for the multiple real estate assets held by Firm’s affiliated entities. Julie joined Kanner & Pintaluga in 2009 as a receptionist and quickly rose to several supervisory positions. Prior to her current position, she served in an Executive Assistant role to the Firm’s Principals. Julie earned a A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Palm Beach Community College and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University. She is also a Licensed Florida Real Estate Agent and a Florida Notary Public.

Thomas A. Hughes, Jr. graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science and from Mississippi College School of Law, summa cum laude. Admitted to practice in Alabama in 2015, he joined The Powell Law Firm the same year and practices in Baldwin County.

Breanna Small

Glendale, CA

Breanna is a dedicated advocate with a varied legal background who is strongly motivated by seeking justice for clients and curbing corporate greed. During law school, Breanna explored a wide variety of legal fields, as she volunteered at Asylum and immigration clinics, represented children in public school suspension hearings, interned with a local non-profit focused on economic justice, and served as an advisor to a small island nation at the United Nations, among other endeavors. Immediately after law school, Breanna commenced a Fellowship at the international NGO Human Rights Watch, where she conducted field research and advocacy related to refugee children’s right to education, culminating in the publishing of a report on the topic. Breanna subsequently spent 4.5 years practicing as an immigration attorney at a non-profit in NYC, providing trauma-informed legal representation to unaccompanied children facing removal proceedings. Now in her role as an advocate at LFJ, Breanna is eager to continue bringing her client-centered and justice-oriented approach to her efforts to enforce the legal rights of all workers.

Nestor E. Nazario was born and raised in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law. He worked as a legal clerk and paralegal for more than 7 years, including as a paralegal at Payas, Payas & Payas after relocating to Orlando, Florida. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2022.

Attorney Bianca Habib grew up in Spring, Texas. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, Ms. Habib attended law school at South Texas College of Law and earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2015. Ms. Habib is committed to defending the rights of others. Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Bianca provided pro bono legal services to indigent clients as a student representative for immigration and family law matters. She later went on to assist with complex mass tort projects and property loss claims. Since joining Dunk Law Firm, Ms. Habib has focused on helping clients injured in accidents obtain fair financial compensation from corporations and insurance companies.

August N. Santore, Jr. has been practicing law for over 25 years. He is a former municipal prosecutor, current private practitioner, and court-appointed attorney for indigent defendants, having handled over 6000 cases in municipal court. He has an extensive accounting and business background, which makes him a suitable choice for business matters. He has significant experience in DUI defense, traffic matters, criminal defense, real estate, business formation, business sales and acquisition, zoning issues, wills, and litigation. He is known for his diligent, straightforward approach and ability to interact well with clients.

Ivan Cutaia graduated in Law in 2017 from the University of Palermo. In 2019, he earned an LL.M. in 'International Business Law' from Tilburg University, where he focused on international contracts, commercial law, business, and start-ups. He speaks fluent Italian and English.

Brenda Ramirez was born and raised in Mexico City. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. She gained professional experience in accounting, tax, and corporate law with her family’s firm in Mexico City. She also has experience in International Business as a business analyst for a multinational company. She spent four years in Bahrain doing freelance translation work and volunteering. Brenda graduated from the paralegal studies program at Boston University.

Amanda Cruz

Amanda previously served as a Law Clerk for a non-profit corporation, Corporación ENLACE, dedicated to helping a community affected by a polluted body of water. Working in that capacity, she gained valuable experience in conducting legal research, drafting documents, and supporting litigation that led up to the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico.
