Born and raised in Armenia, Haykuhi moved to the United States at age 10 and quickly cultivated a passion for standing up for those who couldn’t advocate for themselves. With a broad background in legal work and deep insight into legal procedure, she has helped countless clients navigate complex cases and recover the compensation they deserve. Her experience across employment and family law enriches her strategic, compassionate approach to each situation. From firsthand experience, Haykuhi understands how overwhelming and stressful a legal process can be for clients and promises to remain committed to guiding them with clarity, empathy, and steadfast advocacy every step of the way. Haykuhi earned her Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law. She also completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of California, Irvine. Fernanda Baeza is a lawyer with exceptional proficiency in both legal and governmental arenas. Prior to her current role, she played a pivotal role for nearly five years, where she identified, analyzed, and proposed alternative solutions in anticorruption matters. Her contributions involved suggesting actions to detect, prevent, and minimize risk gaps in both public and private sectors. Fernanda commenced her legal career with a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law at the Autonomous University of Yucatán. Her academic journey has been enriched with advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Government Finance, a Master’s in Legal Argumentation, and a Specialization in Good Governance. With a diverse background, Fernanda also brings experience in administrative procedures, labor, criminal, notarial, and commercial law to her practice.

Brenda Ramirez

Atlanta, GA

Brenda Ramirez was born and raised in Mexico City. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. She gained professional experience in accounting, tax, and corporate law with her family’s firm in Mexico City. She also has experience in International Business as a business analyst for a multinational company. She spent four years in Bahrain doing freelance translation work and volunteering. Brenda graduated from the paralegal studies program at Boston University.

Amanda Cruz

Kansas City, MO

Amanda Paola Cruz Martínez serves as a Mass Tort Associate Attorney. In this role, she helps individuals who have been affected by harmful products and circumstances. Her time as an associate attorney has deepened her commitment to seeking justice and providing support to her clients. She does so by helping her clients navigate complex legal situations with care and compassion. Amanda previously served as a Law Clerk for a non-profit corporation, Corporación ENLACE, dedicated to helping a community affected by a polluted body of water. Working in that capacity, she gained valuable experience in conducting legal research, drafting documents, and supporting litigation that led up to the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico.

Laura Avilés

Laura Aviles serves as the lead lawyer in the Zantac and Maui Fire litigations at Krause & Kinsman. With a decade of active legal practice in Puerto Rico, Laura has developed a strong foundation in handling damages, criminal, labor, and administrative cases. She has gained significant experience navigating complex insurance disputes, particularly following the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Laura has successfully managed criminal jury trials, civil cases, administrative disputes, labor law matters, and appeals. Her client service approach is built on active listening and a deep understanding of her work product. By focusing on truly understanding her clients’ needs, Laura ensures they feel heard and confident in her representation.

Flavia Bazzon focuses her practice on bankruptcy and debt relief, bringing a diverse background that includes experience as an Honors Hire Attorney for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she gained expertise in federal tax law and financial regulations. She also co-managed an insurance and financial services company and operated a successful real estate business. Flavia is licensed to practice law in both Brazil and the United States, and her international training and multilingual fluency (English, Portuguese, Italian, conversational Spanish, working knowledge of French and German) allow her to serve a wide range of clients in Central Florida.

Laura Mendez

Laura Mendez has been with the firm for 26 years, serving as Manager/Administrator. She handles the distribution of client settlements, coordinates with attorneys, medical providers, and clients, and oversees staff to ensure high-quality customer service and a positive work environment. She has extensive human resource and managerial experience.

Nicholas S. Carone

Bridgeport, CT

Attorney Carone was born and raised in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. He attended UConn in Storrs, CT where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Immediately following graduation, he began his career as a Workers’ Compensation adjuster for the premier municipal insurer in the United States. While working, he attended Western New England School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 2020. He is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of Connecticut. After graduating from law school, Attorney Carone continued to handle Workers’ Compensation matters and provide legal education for the towns of Connecticut. In 2021, Attorney Carone joined the successful and growing law firm of Jacobs & Wallace. Attorney Carone frequently represents clients who have been seriously injured in work accidents. Attorney Carone’s entire career has centered around Connecticut’s Workers’ Compensation Act and ensuring that the injured workers of this state receive every benefit they are owed under our laws. Dante is a bilingual lawyer graduated from Universidad Modelo in Merida. He has developed his career in the area of Corporate Law accumulating more than five years of experience in the field. He currently serves as head of the firm’s Corporate Legal Department, leading legal strategies and providing advice on corporate, contractual and tax matters. He has experience in Human Rights from the Interamerican Academy of Human Rights and the the Interamerican Court of Human Rights in Costa Rica; he has also obtained certifications in Corporate and Tax Law from the IEE (Instituto de Especialización para Ejecutivos) and a TOEFL certification in English language. His profile combines a solid legal background with practical experience in the business sector, which allows him to offer comprehensive and strategic solutions for corporate clients.

Monica Lam is a proud Puerto Rican professional who is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. She has over 15 years of experience in the legal field, including more than a decade as a paralegal. Throughout her career, Monica has gained extensive experience working on both the criminal and civil sides of the law, providing skilled support in a wide range of matters. She is currently pursuing her goal of becoming an attorney, driven by her dedication to client advocacy and justice. Outside of work, Monica enjoys dancing salsa, exploring new foods, and spending time with her husband and their two children. Tiffany Yates is an Asheville native and a University of North Carolina School of Law graduate. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, including will caveats, homeowner’s association rights and responsibilities, and property disputes.

Fernando Magdaleno is a Senior Associate Attorney at Serrato Law Firm, PC. He joined the firm in 2018, focusing on immigration proceedings in Orange County and Southern California. He previously worked as a Fellow at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, assisting with landlord-tenant disputes, civil actions, and leading bankruptcy and immigration clinics.

Derek Moretz

Anna Boudakova, Esq is a Senior Associate at Avenue Law Firm and manages the firm’s residential real estate department. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from Iona University before going on to earn her J.D. from Elon University School of Law. Drawn to North Carolina in 2022 for law school, Nic quickly fell in love with the state-and its people-and chose to make it her home. Nic was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in April 2025 after passing the February 2025 Bar Exam. As a practicing criminal defense attorney, she brings a combination of diligence, charisma, and courtroom readiness to her advocacy. Her legal training includes hands-on experience through internships in both public service and private criminal defense, further shaping her commitment to justice and client-centered representation.

Matthew Kallial is an associate attorney at Travis Noble focused exclusively on criminal defense. With nearly two decades of experience, Matthew draws on his background as both a former Missouri State Public Defender and a former prosecutor with the Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to develop a well-rounded and strategic defense for each client. A St. Louis native, Matthew earned his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2006 and his undergraduate degree from Webster University.
