Kenyi was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, and came to the United States in 1997. For the past eight years, Kenyi has worked side by side with the attorneys, paralegals and clients at Trueb Berne & Beard, LLP providing legal and administrative support. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Natividad Orozco

He earned his Master’s degree in Legal Studies from Arizona State University, specializing in diverse legal disciplines such as business structures, tax systems, tort law, criminal law, employment law, intellectual property law, and contract construction and lifecycle. Tom’s academic background enables him to adeptly apply legal principles to practical client scenarios, translating abstract concepts into precise legal terms. Prior to joining PPRCLaw, Tom honed his skills through hands-on experience, emphasizing diligence and refining his communication and management abilities. Currently, Tom primarily supports our Mandarin-speaking clients, ensuring they receive tailored legal assistance that meets their specific needs. Jared Davis is an attorney in the Firm’s Property Damage Practice. Jared specializes in representing property owners in insurance litigation throughout the state. Prior to joining Kanner & Pintaluga, Jared practiced at a plaintiff’s firm in Broward County where he specialized in first party property matters, and corporate commercial litigation. Jared graduated from St. John’s University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, and a minor in Business Law. He then completed his J.D. at St. Thomas University.

Shawn Gibbons is a Partner in the Firm’s Property Damage Practice. Shawn received a B.A. from the University of North Florida. He completed his J.D. at St. Thomas University where he was an editor for the St. Thomas Law Review, member of the St. Thomas Moot Court Team and former President of the St. Thomas Trial Team. Following law school, Shawn served as an Assistant Public Defender in the 9th Judicial Circuit of Orlando, Florida where he tried numerous cases to verdict, drafted and argued substantive motions and established his love for litigation and protecting people’s rights. Before joining Kanner & Pintaluga, Shawn practiced solely in first party property damage claims while working for a large insurance defense firm. During this time, Shawn learned how the insurance companies evaluate and litigate first party property damage claims which he now uses to the benefit of the clients he represents.

I was born in Cuba in 2001 and migrated to the U.S when I was 7 years old with my mom. Coming to a whole new country without any family was scary but thankfully I adapted well, and I feel like I really began to thrive. I came here into 3rd grade and my mom along with teachers thought I would probably have to get held back but I learned English very fast, and I was able to stay in my correct grade. It helped a lot that my mom was an English professor in Cuba and did her best in teaching me the language at home as well. We lived in Cape Coral for a couple of years and then we moved to Lehigh where I met my now fiancée and graduated from Lehigh Senior High School in 2019. My first job was being a cashier at Home Depot, where I learned how to provide customer service for the first time. I was a sophomore at the time so I would go to school during the day and work part time after school. After 3 years of being there and starting college soon, I felt like I needed something with better hours, and I became a technical support agent for a company called Alorica where I troubleshooted computers and TVs over the phone and then set them up for repairs if needed. This was my first call center job, and I gained a ton of experience handling calls in a very busy call center. COVID hit while I was working there so I was sent to work from home. After about almost 2 years of being there, the company unfortunately shut down due to COVID. I then used my cashiering experience and became a head cashier at Lowe’s. It was more responsibly than before as I was responsible for sending all cashiers to their breaks and had to deescalate a lot of situations with customers. After about a year, I found out I was pregnant, and I was terrified as it wasn’t planned but looking back it’s the best thing that could have happened to me. I decided to step down from a full-time position and took a part time position at Rack Room Shoes as a Key Holder which was similar to what I was doing at Lowe’s. On July 20th, 2022, I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Layla. I knew I wanted to dedicate everything to her, and I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with her for a year and a half. After some time, I decided it was time for me to jump back into the work force and was lucky enough to find you guys! I wont lie I was intimidated to work at a Law Group as I have never done anything like this before, however I’m happy to say it was a good decision. Helping people in their time of need fulfills me every day. I strive to be the person that handles the intake process with kindness as I would like to have done for me if I was ever in their positions. During my time off, my priority is spending time with my little family. My fiancée and I have been together for 5 years now and aside from raising our daughter, the goal is to buy a house for our family that we can create memories in for a lifetime.

Randi Johansen

Randi has been with Parke Gordon since 2016 and works as a client liaison. She communicates with clients periodically to get treatment status updates, answer any questions, and make sure they have all the tools they need to get better. She understands that being in an accident is a scary and stressful experience, and she strives to alleviate as much of that difficulty as possible. Before joining our team, Randi worked for Catholic Charities teaching English to Spanish-speaking adults in Boston, MA. She also worked several years as a pastry sous chef for Tom Douglas in Seattle, where she honed her already solid pie-making skills. Originally from Seattle, Randi has also lived in Oregon, Massachusetts, Utah, England, Bolivia, and Perú. She has a B.A. in English Literature from Brigham Young University. In her free time, Randi enjoys baking, crafting, playing board games, traveling, and collecting passport stamps from the National Parks. Joining in on all of her adventures are her husband, Saúl, and children, Diego and Lila.

Lauren Lucio

A proud Edinburg native, Lauren is the eldest of her family’s latest generation. Growing up, she quickly learned the value of hard work and responsibility helping to raise cattle, pigs, goats, rabbits, and chickens on her family’s homestead. Determined to pursue a career in the legal profession, Lauren began her journey into higher education early at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley while still enrolled as a full-time high school student. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from UTRGV amidst a global pandemic. Lauren then headed straight to Fort Worth, where she graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law. While attending law school, Lauren actively participated in the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, where she gained hands-on experience with clients and the practice of transactional law. One of her greatest joys during that time of her life was acting as a student liaison with community organizations such as the Texas Veteran’s Commission, where she helped small business owners get their businesses started in the right direction. Throughout her final year of law school, Lauren worked as a research assistant during her final year of law school. She helped compile extensive comparative data on U.S. privacy models and foreign privacy regimes with the goal for proposing a new ethical framework for data collection and its use in public health. As dazzling as big city life was, Lauren happily returned to her roots in the Rio Grande Valley to begin her legal career. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading and writing fiction, watching K-dramas, visiting state parks to birdwatch, and relaxing with her three ranch cats.
