Karlen Shahbazyan joined Gor & Associates as an Assistant Case Manager in 2025. He holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California Irvine and is pursuing a paralegal certificate. He is fluent in English and Armenian.

Andrea Rueda is an Intake Specialist at Wocl Leydon, a legal studies student, and an advocate for equity and growth. She grew up in Trumbull, Connecticut, raised by immigrant parents from Peru and Colombia. She studied Legal Studies with a minor in Justice & Law at American University. She has held leadership roles, including Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity for her sorority, and has worked as a Legal Assistant at Commonfund. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Debora Garcia is a paralegal with over a decade of experience in the legal field. Originally from California, she moved to Kentucky in 2004 and is fluent in English and Spanish. She assists clients throughout pre-litigation and litigation.

Sallie Friedman

Sallie Friedman is a medical paralegal with Rechtman & Spevak. She has a background in primary healthcare, working as a physical therapist and in healthcare administration. She completed her physical therapy degree at The Medical College of Georgia after attending the University of Georgia. She joined the legal team in 2020, using her healthcare background to interpret medical records and understand client disabilities.

Douglas J. Phebus is a partner and shareholder at Arellano & Phebus S.C., with over 40 years of combined experience in successful practice. He has been recognized by prestigious legal associations as a lawyer of distinction with the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards.

Daniel is a proud Austinite. He left Austin to attend the University of California Santa Barbara, and then taught English for a year in Granada, Spain before returning home to attend the University of Texas School of Law. His last year of law school he attended University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain where he received a L.L.M. and drafted a thesis on the differences in consumer arbitration in the E.U and the United States.

Kaila Washington is a Texas State Bar-admitted Associate attorney with a diverse legal background in contract law, litigation, regulatory compliance, and business advisory services. She brings a well-rounded perspective to cases across government, healthcare, corporate, and insurance industries, focusing on strategic, client-centered counsel and crafting innovative legal strategies to mitigate risk and foster client success.

Elen is the office manager at Campos Law Group. She joined the firm in 2018 as a Litigation Department member and the Records Department lead. She continues her role as counsel on Philippine legal matters. In her free time, she and her husband frequent family-friendly activities with their three children and dog, Tofu. She also volunteers for advocacy groups for children with special needs.

Faryal is a litigation attorney at Campos Law Group. She grew up in South Austin and still lives there today. To Faryal, Austin is home. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and her Juris Doctor degree at St. Mary’s Law School in San Antonio, Texas. In her spare time, she likes to explore Austin, hike, and read novels.

Jacquelyn Wanes is an attorney at the Law Offices of Ali Taheripour who works with our Civil Litigation and Pre-litigation departments to deliver high-quality representation for our clients. She brings dedication, skill, and zealous advocacy to every case she handles. Ms. Wanes received her bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara in sociology with a minor in history. She later earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles. During her time there, she distinguished herself both academically and in competitive advocacy. Specifically, Ms. Wanes earned her place on the Dean's List and graduated Cum Laude. She also served on both the Honors Moot Court and Mock Trial teams and was recognized as Best Advocate in the 2024 San Fernando Valley Bar Association Mock Trial Competition. Parallel to her work in the legal field, Ms. Wanes continues to pursue her love for the education of law. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of West Los Angeles, her alma mater. Passionate about mentorship, she actively supports her students and provides guidance on the legal profession outside the classroom. Ms. Wanes utilizes a client-centered approach, tailoring every case to our client’s distinct needs. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ms. Wanes is dedicated to providing effective and thoughtful representation, and she plays an integral role in guiding clients through all stages of the legal process.

Kenny Insignares is an executive assistant and lead qualification specialist at Abogados Centro Legal. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he has a background in writing and customer service, bringing excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to his role. He previously worked in a financial blog and a wealth management firm, and is now dedicated to helping clients at Abogados Centro Legal.

Valerie’s practice focuses on Real Estate Closings for both commercial and residential properties ranging from several thousand to multimillion dollar projects for both US Citizens and foreigners abroad. In additional to providing real estate closing services, Valerie also offers family and employment-based immigration services in conjunction with several international businesses.

Alexandra started working with Valiente, Carollo and McElligott PLLC after graduating from Florida International University. After working at Valiente, Carollo and McElligott PLLC for over one year as a Paralegal, Alexandra left to pursue her law degree but has since returned after her first year of law school as a Summer Associate. Alexandra shares the same commitment and dedication to our clients and their cases as attorneys. Christopher Peace is a seasoned attorney at the Tran Law Firm, specializing in litigation, contract drafting, estate disputes, employment law, child custody, and healthcare law. He graduated Summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Political Science degree and earned his law degree, also Summa cum laude, where he served as Senior Articles Editor for the law review. He is a trained collaborative law practitioner and has extensive experience with child welfare from his time at Mecklenburg Youth and Family Services (DSS).
