After earning her law degree, Amiee served as an Intern at the University of North Carolina School of Law’s Civil Legal Assistance Clinic and the Center for Death Penalty Litigation in Durham, and Chatham County Office of the Public Defender.

Laura was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. She has been a West Texas native her entire life. Following graduation from Cooper High, she started her 17-year medical career. She is a Certified Nurses Assistant and has worked in medical facilities in Abilene and the surrounding areas providing passionate care for her patients, including injured, sick, and elderly. Laura decided about 2 years ago that she would love to work in the legal industry, specifically with injured clients. Her compassion for helping others had been a great fit. She works hand in hand with our Team of Paralegals, collecting and reviewing medical records to assist with building the clients' evidence and case. Laura has two wonderful sons. In her time away from the office, she owns and operates a successful snow cone business, Zombie Cones.
