Mr. Luqman recently teamed up with the Spanish Speaking Community of Maryland (SSCM) and the Ausherman Family Foundation to be the sole representative to immigrant families in Frederick, Maryland who are unable to afford legal representation. The rewarding partnership with SSCM has helped many families obtain representation they are unable to otherwise afford.

Estefania “Nia” Reichard

Estefania “Nia” Reichard is an Associate Attorney specializing in Immigration and Family Law, particularly Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana, she holds an International Studies degree from LSU and a graduate degree from Loyola University Chicago. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She is a native Spanish speaker dedicated to serving the Latinx community.

Christine joined our team in the Spring of 2022 with 6 years of experience in the legal field. Christine was born and raised in Odessa and is proud of being a West Texas native. As the first impression you get of the firm, Christine greets everyone with her friendly, warm personality, and she makes you feel comfortable and welcome. She is bilingual and speaks beautiful Spanish. Christine is hardworking and dedicated to our clients. She enjoys helping people and making a positive difference in their lives. Originally from Mexico and raised in Kansas City, Maria has always been curious about different cultures and perspectives. Her passion for learning and exploring the world led her to London, where she earned her Master’s degree from Goldsmiths, University of London. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rockhurst University, which laid the foundation for her interest in communication, advocacy, and justice. While in London, she worked for a legal technology company, further strengthening her experience at the intersection of law, tech, and outreach. Now at the firm, Maria is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that reflect the firm’s mission. From content creation and outreach campaigns to digital engagement and community connection, she uses her creative skillset to make sure more people in need know where to turn for help. Outside of work, Maria can often be found reading, swimming, trying new food, or spending time with friends and family. She loves history, Korean dramas, concerts, and traveling to places that challenge her to grow and step outside her comfort zone. What she values most about her work is that it gives her a clear purpose: “I like that I’m able to help people. The firm’s philosophy gives my work real meaning.” Her favorite quote, from John 13:7, reflects her trust in the journey: “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

Maria del Carmen Vera-Diaz assists the Massachusetts injury attorneys at the law office. A native of Colombia who has also lived in Brazil, she serves as an interpreter for clients who speak Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

Richard A. Shank

Richard A. Shank II is an associate attorney with the firm’s litigation department. Being a military child, Mr. Shank traveled often, from Spain to Panama City to Guam to California to Panama City Beach. At a young age, he primarily spoke Spanish until moving to the states in Kindergarten picking up the English language and has been bilingual since. He has lived in Bay County since middle school and a graduate of JR Arnold High School. Mr. Shank attended the University of Alabama, majoring in Political Science and Spanish and received his juris doctorate from Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida.

Marlon Orozco joined FBR in 2023, bringing experience in workers’ compensation and immigration law. He is a graduate of Hamline University School of Law. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese.

She obtained degrees in Law and International Affairs from La Universidad Interamericana del Norte in Chihuahua City, in Mexico. Prior to joining California Trial Law Group, Paloma worked in the insurance field handling injury and death benefits claims. She possesses a good understanding of the claims process.
