An immigrant from Nigeria, Laura grew up in Spain and moved to the United States in 2011. She is a first-generation college and law school graduate. Laura earned her undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University, where she majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Spanish. Her passion for social justice led her to pursue a legal career. Laura attended Southwestern Law School, where she served as a Writing Fellow and Research Assistant. She was recognized for her academic and professional achievements with scholarships and awards from organizations such as Black Women Lawyers, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and the Southwestern Alumni Association. As both an immigrant and native Spanish speaker, Laura is deeply committed to providing zealous advocacy for the Spanish-speaking community-a commitment she has upheld since her undergraduate years. In her free time, Laura enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Tiffany Romo

Tiffany Romo is an Associate Attorney at Brock & Gonzales handling Employment cases in our Spanish speaking department. Tiffany was born and raised in Southern California. She attended California State University Northridge, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After graduating from CSUN, Tiffany attended Southwestern Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude. During her time in law school, Tiffany was a student advocate for various legal clinics including the Immigration Law Clinic and the Community Lawyering Clinic, where she provided free legal representation to individuals seeking humanitarian immigration aid. Following her public service work, Tiffany discovered her passion for advocating on behalf of Latinx workers. Tiffany understands how important employment is to people's lives and is committed to ensuring justice for wronged employees, handling cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Tiffany is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the Mexican American Bar Association.

Tom P. Ward is an experienced trial attorney, focusing on criminal defense and immigration. He has defended clients in jury trials ranging from DUI to sexual assault of a child, aggravated robbery and first-degree murder. Before coming to Bull and Davies P.C., Tom spent over a decade successfully representing clients for the Colorado State Public Defender. Tom has a proven track record of vigorously defending his clients at trial, having conducted over 50 jury trials, and achieving positive outcomes for clients in thousands of cases. Tom understands the overwhelming prospect of being accused of a crime. Elizabeth Borg

Elizabeth Borg is our firm’s legal assistant and client intake coordinator. Ms. Borg graduated from Fresno State University with a degree in Public Relations and has worked in that field until switching over to pursue her interest in criminal law. She has moved around the country growing up, but calls San Diego home. As the first person the firm’s potential new clients speak to, Ms. Borg is responsible for providing information about the Law Offices of Anna R. Yum to our new clients to help make them feel comfortable and safe. She has over 10 years of experience in administrative work and customer service, and helps our firm stay on top of our clients’ cases. Ms. Borg is fluent in both Spanish and English, and helps follow up with clients to answer questions, provide updates, and offer exemplary customer service. In her free time, Ms. Borg loves to visit with friends and family. She enjoys exploring San Diego especially with her dog Sansa, listening to a good podcast, and trying out new hobbies and adventures.

Jari Mendoza

San Diego, CA

Jari joined Bruno & Associates in 2022. She specifically supports attorney Amir Shoar and manages his busy litigation calendar, which is a comprehensive schedule that contains important dates, deadlines, and court appearances related to the Firm’s litigation cases.

Keren earned an associate degree and paralegal certification in Florida, specializing in Social Security disability, workers’ compensation, and disability law. Since 2012, she has exclusively handled Social Security disability and SSI claims. Keren serves as a representative assistant and paralegal. She understands what Social Security is looking for and will help you write a very clear statement of your case, identifying any work limitations resulting from your medical problems. This statement will be used in all of the forms sent to the Social Security Administration. In addition, Keren ensures that Social Security has up-to-date contact information from your doctors, therapists, and any hospital where you have been treated. She also provides your treating physician(s) with the necessary medical source statements that must be completed to support your application for disability. Keren’s goal is to provide Social Security adjudicators with enough information to win clients’ cases at the early stages.

Partner at Mexlaw, Gerardo is a law graduate from the Interamerican University for Development in Merida, and certified as an English language speaker by the Britannia General English Program (Vancouver, Canada). His experience includes corporate law, labor law and notarization (trading, donation wills, corporations, faith acts, contracts, agreements, etc.). He practiced as legal counsel and as a legal analyst in Merida, Yucatán. Gerardo was recently certified by the National Association of Mexican Notaries for his participation at the seminar of Legislative Fiscal Update.

Graduated from Florida A & M University where he received a B.S. in Journalism and a B.A. in Spanish. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Marcil taught Spanish at Ribault High School in Jacksonville, FL, for three years. He then attended FAMU College of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2017. In law school, he was awarded the FAMU All-Stars Scholarship and was selected as a member of the FAMU Law Review. He also participated in the FAMU College of Law Criminal Defense and Mediation Clinics in addition to internships with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services; Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor, & Reed; and Crews & Pesquera. Since 2017, he has been exclusively practicing criminal defense and family law, including complex divorce actions, paternity actions, and all forms of modification. Stephen M. Wauck

Stephen began working for Berg & Berg in 2007 as a paralegal before enrolling at Chicago-Kent College of Law. He clerked one summer for Judge Daniel Lynch of the Cook County Law Division, and spent another summer representing indigent defendants in major felony cases in Cook County. In his final year of law school he worked in the area of eminent domain. Stephen currently concentrates his practice in workers' compensation claims, representing hundreds of injured employees from the filing of the case through trial, appeals, and final settlement. Stephen has also appeared in many civil cases ranging from rather small cases to million dollar claims. Stephen also handles a variety of criminal defense matters for the firm in felony, misdemeanor and traffic courts. In his free time, Stephen is an avid musician who plays Irish music on the flute and tin whistle.

Allie joined Etehad Law in 2022 after spending the majority of her professional career as a paralegal in the areas of Civil Rights and Immigration. Raised in California, Allie moved to the east coast to pursue her education and achieve her lifelong goal of becoming an attorney. A former DACA recipient, Allie utilized and developed every skill and resource available to her to attend Harvard University. Allie then made the transition to move to New York to continue her undergraduate career with a focus on English & American Literature along with minoring in Law & Society. Amy Bronzwaig

Ms. Bronzwaig attended Florida State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Criminology as well as a Certificate in Emergency Management. Subsequently, Ms. Bronzwaig attended the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law where she obtained her Doctor of Law. While in law school, Ms. Bronzwaig served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Board and the Latinx Law Student Association. She participated as a member of the Brandeis School of Law Journal of Animal and Environmental Law. Ms. Bronzwaig volunteered with the Department of Public Advocacy, providing pro bono services to indigent individuals accused of crimes. Ms. Bronzwaig was awarded the prestigious CALI Award for earning the highest grade in her Drafting course in law school and graduated with cum laude honors.
