Originally from Connecticut, she relocated to South Florida to pursue her undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Political Science. During her time at FAU, she held leadership roles as an executive board member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority and served as a Delegate of the National Model United Nations, competing in Washington, D.C. After graduation, she took a gap year to study for the LSAT and worked as a Law Clerk at the Berman Law Group. She then moved to Boston to attend Suffolk University Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2024. At Suffolk, she received the Honorable Mention Brief Award for her work in the Legal Practice Skills class and held leadership positions on the executive board of the Latin American Law Students Association. She also served as the Chief Note Editor on the Suffolk Transnational Law Review executive board, overseeing the publication of scholarly articles and providing guidance to fellow editors. Her Note on Human Rights Law was published in Volume XLVII of the journal. She is fluent in Spanish.

She has a background as teacher in her native country, Cuba, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. Ely is a Spanish speaking that would describe her primary responsibility as “Help people get a new financial start and fight for their future”. She is committed to helping DLG make a difference in the lives of its clients and the community. Fiorella specializes in representing homeowners and business owners in property damage and coverage disputes throughout the state. Before joining Kanner & Pintaluga, Fiorella gained experience serving as an associate attorney at a well-respected South Florida defense firm. She has represented insurance companies in auto-accidents and premise liability cases and has several years of experience representing insurance carriers in first party disputes. Fiorella uses this training and experience to ensure maximum recovery for the policy holders she represents. Fiorella received a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
