Samantha Angelastro

Oriana Riquezes

Oriana Riquezes is an Associate Attorney at Nicklaus & Associates, P.A. recently passing the Florida Bar. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs and Criminology and a minor in French. During her undergraduate studies, she was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and interned at the Center for Advancement of Human Rights in Tallahassee, FL, as well as CABA Pro Bono Legal Services. In these roles, she assisted underprivileged clients, including victims of human trafficking and unaccompanied minors, in navigating the legal processes for asylum, permanent residency, and citizenship. Tim graduated from Creighton University and received his J.D. from the University of San Diego. Before he became an Administrative Law Judge in July 2015, Tim was in private practice for almost thirty years. He began his legal career in Los Angeles where he represented self-insured employers, insurance carriers and governmental entities (including school districts) in state and federal court. There he gained extensive arbitration and trial experience focusing primarily on general liability and employment cases. Tim represented clients in every phase of litigation from drafting the initial pleadings through trial. Returning home to Colorado in 1994, Tim represented clients in employment, workers’ compensation (including subrogation), general liability and employment cases. From 2013-15, Tim worked as a part-time hearing officer for the City and County of Denver, adjudicating Denver Civil Service Commission appeals. Tim is also a certified mediator and has acted as a mediator in cases starting in 2016.

Justin DeMichael is an associate with the firm. Mr. DeMichael received his J.D. With a certificate in Business Law from University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law in 2022. While in law school, Mr. DeMichael participated in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic where he worked closely with the IRS to resolve a variety of tax matters, relieving some clients completely of their tax debt. After graduating law school, Mr. DeMichael was a Judicial Law Clerk with the Circuit Court for Harford County, for the Honorable Paul W. Ishak.

Grady was raised on the Gulf Coast of Southeast Texas and earned both his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin.
