In 2019, she participated in an exchange program at Loyola Law School, where she developed a strong interest in the American legal system. During her academic career, Rachel cultivated a passion for litigation through her participation in moot court competitions and legal clinic work. She competed in the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition, where her team earned the Best Memorial Award. Rachel also served in her university’s Legal Clinic, providing pro bono legal services to underserved communities. Through this experience, she gained hands-on skills in mediation and small claims court proceedings. Before joining the firm, Rachel worked as an immigration attorney in Los Angeles, where she represented asylum seekers fleeing persecution based on their political opinions. She gained substantial courtroom experience, advocating for clients in bond hearings and removal proceedings before immigration judges and opposing government attorneys. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys watching movies, cooking, baking, and hiking. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.

Nathan Stump

Saint Louis, MO

Nathan D. Stump is a partner at the firm and concentrates his practice on representing people who have been injured by corporations, including victims of toxic contamination and consumers of defective pharmaceutical products. Before joining the firm, Nathan served for over 14 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, first in the Middle District of Alabama and later in the Southern District of Illinois. During his tenure as a federal prosecutor, Nathan led hundreds of criminal and civil prosecutions against individuals and corporations, handling all stages of the case from initial investigation and charging through settlement, trial, and post-judgment appeal. While working in the Department of Justice, Nathan developed a wide breadth of experience, handling everything from telemarketing fraud and environmental crimes to civil rights violations and murder for hire. He focused his practice on cases involving children, the elderly, and other vulnerable victims. He also has significant international experience, including investigations in Afghanistan, South Africa, the Philippines, and Nepal. Over the course of his government service, Nathan’s outstanding work was recognized by many federal agencies, including the FBI, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Federal Trade Commission. Nathan has extensive civil and criminal trial experience and served for many years as a faculty instructor at the National Advocacy Center in South Carolina. He has also lectured audiences on an array of topics, including child sex trafficking, sovereign citizens, digital evidence, and the ethical use of social media.
