Nathan Stump

Nathan D. Stump is a partner at the firm and concentrates his practice on representing people who have been injured by corporations, including victims of toxic contamination and consumers of defective pharmaceutical products. Before joining the firm, Nathan served for over 14 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, first in the Middle District of Alabama and later in the Southern District of Illinois. During his tenure as a federal prosecutor, Nathan led hundreds of criminal and civil prosecutions against individuals and corporations, handling all stages of the case from initial investigation and charging through settlement, trial, and post-judgment appeal. While working in the Department of Justice, Nathan developed a wide breadth of experience, handling everything from telemarketing fraud and environmental crimes to civil rights violations and murder for hire. He focused his practice on cases involving children, the elderly, and other vulnerable victims. He also has significant international experience, including investigations in Afghanistan, South Africa, the Philippines, and Nepal.
