Daniel is a proud Austinite. He left Austin to attend the University of California Santa Barbara, and then taught English for a year in Granada, Spain before returning home to attend the University of Texas School of Law. His last year of law school he attended University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain where he received a L.L.M. and drafted a thesis on the differences in consumer arbitration in the E.U and the United States.

Kaila Washington is a Texas State Bar-admitted Associate attorney with a diverse legal background in contract law, litigation, regulatory compliance, and business advisory services. She brings a well-rounded perspective to cases across government, healthcare, corporate, and insurance industries, focusing on strategic, client-centered counsel and crafting innovative legal strategies to mitigate risk and foster client success.

Jacquelyn Wanes is an attorney at the Law Offices of Ali Taheripour who works with our Civil Litigation and Pre-litigation departments to deliver high-quality representation for our clients. She brings dedication, skill, and zealous advocacy to every case she handles. Ms. Wanes received her bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara in sociology with a minor in history. She later earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles. During her time there, she distinguished herself both academically and in competitive advocacy. Specifically, Ms. Wanes earned her place on the Dean's List and graduated Cum Laude. She also served on both the Honors Moot Court and Mock Trial teams and was recognized as Best Advocate in the 2024 San Fernando Valley Bar Association Mock Trial Competition. Parallel to her work in the legal field, Ms. Wanes continues to pursue her love for the education of law. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of West Los Angeles, her alma mater. Passionate about mentorship, she actively supports her students and provides guidance on the legal profession outside the classroom. Ms. Wanes utilizes a client-centered approach, tailoring every case to our client’s distinct needs. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ms. Wanes is dedicated to providing effective and thoughtful representation, and she plays an integral role in guiding clients through all stages of the legal process.

Kenny Insignares

Hoover, AL

Kenny Insignares is an executive assistant and lead qualification specialist at Abogados Centro Legal. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he has a background in writing and customer service, bringing excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to his role. He previously worked in a financial blog and a wealth management firm, and is now dedicated to helping clients at Abogados Centro Legal.

Valerie’s practice focuses on Real Estate Closings for both commercial and residential properties ranging from several thousand to multimillion dollar projects for both US Citizens and foreigners abroad. In additional to providing real estate closing services, Valerie also offers family and employment-based immigration services in conjunction with several international businesses.

Mr. Bishop is an associate in the firm’s corporate, general business transactional, and estate planning groups. Mr. Bishop assists clients with various business law matters, including formation, structure, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, and other business transactions. Mr. Bishop also practices in the firm’s estate planning section, where he assists clients with various estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and probate proceedings.

Alexandra started working with Valiente, Carollo and McElligott PLLC after graduating from Florida International University. After working at Valiente, Carollo and McElligott PLLC for over one year as a Paralegal, Alexandra left to pursue her law degree but has since returned after her first year of law school as a Summer Associate. Alexandra shares the same commitment and dedication to our clients and their cases as attorneys. Monica Leon serves as the Spanish Translator for Piscitello Law, assisting Spanish-speaking clients and helping the firm connect with the community to improve road safety. She is a native Spanish speaker from Puebla, Mexico.

Araceli Pelayo has served as Office Manager for Law Offices of Andrew Zeytuntsyan for 12 years, providing crucial support to the legal team and clients. As a bilingual professional, she communicates expertly in English and Spanish.

Genesis Diaz is a Paralegal/Legal Assistant at Kohan & Bablove. She has 4 years’ experience working for law firms helping those victimized by large corporations and insurance companies. Genesis graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Merced in Political Science and selected as UCDC recipient interning at the Department of Justice, Office of the Solicitor General during President Barack Obama’s term. In addition to working, she also enjoys reading memoirs in her spare time and trying all the vegan food she can find. She is fluent in Spanish

Joseph was a cornerstone of our firm, serving as the managing partner for the Nevada office since its inception in 1992. He was also dedicated to providing accessible legal support, serving as the firm’s LegalShield Manager. Paola Castillo is the firm's social media and marketing manager, having joined in spring 2019. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is fluent in Spanish.

Attorney Leonel (Leo) Farias II is a native Texan, raised in Portland, Texas, and spent a significant portion of his life in Hebbronville. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston. He is a partner at Farias Law Firm.

Steven Gourley is a litigator who has argued on behalf of clients in courtrooms across North Carolina. He represents clients with both civil and criminal matters. Renowned as an energetic, fair, and clear-eyed steward of justice, he brings the highest level of legal service and advocacy to every client. Steven knows that not every case requires a courtroom proceeding, but he prepares every case for that possibility. Mr. Gourley grew up in McLeansville, North Carolina, where his neighbors farmed tobacco, worked in cigarette factories and textile mills, drove long haul freight, or owned small businesses. Steven learned their virtues and challenges and has used that knowledge with great success while arguing on behalf of clients who seek relief and justice through the law. Steven’s previous legal experience includes work as a Student Associate for the MSU Civil Rights Clinic while he was a student at Michigan State University College of Law. There, he represented clients with constitutional cases involving excessive force by law enforcement and unfair and cruel treatment during incarceration. After law school, Steven worked with a firm to swiftly handle the BP Oil Spill Settlement. When the settlement concluded, Mr. Gourley became a Clifton Everett Staff Attorney Fellow for Legal Aid of North Carolina. He spent six years as a Staff Attorney for Legal Aid, advocating for the rights of clients in some of North Carolina’s most impoverished counties. His work to win legal protections for victims of domestic violence clients led him to become an Assistant District Attorney representing the State of North Carolina for two years before coming to work as a member Attorney with Stewart, Schmidlin, and Bullock PLLC and as an “Of-Counsel Attorney” with Martinez Law.

Fatima Leal

Starkville, MS

Fatima Leal relocated to Mississippi from Texas in 2001 and pursued a banking career after graduating with an associate’s degree in finance. She joined Vollor Law Firm in 2022 and assists our litigation division, managing medical liens and assisting the attorneys with special appointed cases. As office manager, Fatima is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operations, billing, and administrative tasks. Fatima's fluency in Spanish also aids us in communicating with clients for whom Spanish is their first language. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her four children to create family memories. Fatima is a valuable member of the office, and we are excited to have her join our team.
