Jari Mendoza

Jari joined Bruno & Associates in 2022. She specifically supports attorney Amir Shoar and manages his busy litigation calendar, which is a comprehensive schedule that contains important dates, deadlines, and court appearances related to the Firm’s litigation cases.

Keren earned an associate degree and paralegal certification in Florida, specializing in Social Security disability, workers’ compensation, and disability law. Since 2012, she has exclusively handled Social Security disability and SSI claims. Keren serves as a representative assistant and paralegal. She understands what Social Security is looking for and will help you write a very clear statement of your case, identifying any work limitations resulting from your medical problems. This statement will be used in all of the forms sent to the Social Security Administration. In addition, Keren ensures that Social Security has up-to-date contact information from your doctors, therapists, and any hospital where you have been treated. She also provides your treating physician(s) with the necessary medical source statements that must be completed to support your application for disability. Keren’s goal is to provide Social Security adjudicators with enough information to win clients’ cases at the early stages.

Partner at Mexlaw, Gerardo is a law graduate from the Interamerican University for Development in Merida, and certified as an English language speaker by the Britannia General English Program (Vancouver, Canada). His experience includes corporate law, labor law and notarization (trading, donation wills, corporations, faith acts, contracts, agreements, etc.). He practiced as legal counsel and as a legal analyst in Merida, Yucatán. Gerardo was recently certified by the National Association of Mexican Notaries for his participation at the seminar of Legislative Fiscal Update.

Graduated from Florida A & M University where he received a B.S. in Journalism and a B.A. in Spanish. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Marcil taught Spanish at Ribault High School in Jacksonville, FL, for three years. He then attended FAMU College of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2017. In law school, he was awarded the FAMU All-Stars Scholarship and was selected as a member of the FAMU Law Review. He also participated in the FAMU College of Law Criminal Defense and Mediation Clinics in addition to internships with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services; Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor, & Reed; and Crews & Pesquera. Since 2017, he has been exclusively practicing criminal defense and family law, including complex divorce actions, paternity actions, and all forms of modification. Kyle is also licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Stephen M. Wauck

Stephen began working for Berg & Berg in 2007 as a paralegal before enrolling at Chicago-Kent College of Law. He clerked one summer for Judge Daniel Lynch of the Cook County Law Division, and spent another summer representing indigent defendants in major felony cases in Cook County. In his final year of law school he worked in the area of eminent domain. Stephen currently concentrates his practice in workers' compensation claims, representing hundreds of injured employees from the filing of the case through trial, appeals, and final settlement. Stephen has also appeared in many civil cases ranging from rather small cases to million dollar claims. Stephen also handles a variety of criminal defense matters for the firm in felony, misdemeanor and traffic courts. In his free time, Stephen is an avid musician who plays Irish music on the flute and tin whistle.

Raised in California, Allie moved to the east coast to pursue her education and achieve her lifelong goal of becoming an attorney. Allie then made the transition to move to New York to continue her undergraduate career with a focus on English & American Literature along with minoring in Law & Society. Ms. Bronzwaig attended Florida State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Criminology as well as a Certificate in Emergency Management. Subsequently, Ms. Bronzwaig attended the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law where she obtained her Doctor of Law. While in law school, Ms. Bronzwaig served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Board and the Latinx Law Student Association. She participated as a member of the Brandeis School of Law Journal of Animal and Environmental Law. Ms. Bronzwaig volunteered with the Department of Public Advocacy, providing pro bono services to indigent individuals accused of crimes. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rockhurst University, which laid the foundation for her interest in communication, advocacy, and justice. While in London, she worked for a legal technology company, further strengthening her experience at the intersection of law, tech, and outreach. Now at the firm, Maria is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that reflect the firm’s mission. From content creation and outreach campaigns to digital engagement and community connection, she uses her creative skillset to make sure more people in need know where to turn for help. Outside of work, Maria can often be found reading, swimming, trying new food, or spending time with friends and family. She loves history, Korean dramas, concerts, and traveling to places that challenge her to grow and step outside her comfort zone.
