Our Vermont all-crash dataset spans 255 cities and towns with 181,920 crash records analyzed. Federal fatal crash data from the NHTSA Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) adds 876 fatal crash records across 179 cities and 14 counties.
Each report includes crash severity breakdowns, temporal patterns, contributing factors, road and weather conditions, vehicle demographics, and speed limit zone analysis. All data is retrieved programmatically from official government open data portals and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any law enforcement agency or state transportation department.
